Typically, an aged person or their family member contacts our Senior Care Consultant for information on the many facets of caring for the elderly.

Or, a doctor, attorney or social worker may inquire. Our staff is devoted to serving the client and family in a holistic manner. We serve the tri-county area of Charleston and our services might start right away, or we help make care plans for months or years in the future.

Our Senior Care Consultant listens intently to the details of the person’s needs. We ask questions about the overall well-being of the person needing care. What is the medical diagnosis? Are there short-term memory issues? How recently has he seen his medical professional?

We ask what the family members needs are. Do they work full-time or only respite? Is the primary caregiver able to do all the person needs for satisfactory daily living? Are there any disputes in the family? Who has power of attorney? Does the family agree to the aged person remaining at home?

Thoughtfully, our Care Consultant moves to the next step in Care Management. Our RN Clinical Director does a comprehensive assessment wherever the person will be residing during our care giving. Considering all of the dynamics of care, the RN promptly makes written recommendations in the best interest of the aged person. In-home care giving might begin immediately, or the person might take longer to consider the detailed care plan. Our RN’s clinical and environmental assessment is critical to establishing clear guidelines for the person’s long term care.
