Dr. Kleckley completed a residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in geriatrics. He is
specially trained to care for older patients with a focus on disease prevention, dementia diagnosis and management, chronic disease management and maintenance of quality of life.
His areas of expertise include treatment of dementia (including Alzheimer’s), depression, diabetes, hypertension, heart disease, gait/movement disorders, osteoporosis, urinary incontinence and other common conditions among seniors. Dr. Kleckley understands the needs of older adults and prides himself on providing the highest quality health care to his patients and their families.
Our Approach
Dr. Kleckley utilizes a specialized biopsychosocial approach to the care of older patients and their families and caregivers, providing a more comprehensive assessment for the older patient. He is currently accepting referrals for primary care as well as outpatient consultation for those aged 55 years and older.
He spends generous time with his patients: initial visits are scheduled for one hour and follow-up visits are 30 minutes. He is assisted by a full-time nurse and social worker who round out his comprehensive team. Dr. Kleckley maintains privileges at both Roper and St. Francis Hospitals.
