Assisting Patients to Keep Healthy Legs and Feet so they can Lead an Active Lifestyle

Active Mobility meets your needs by providing the highest quality orthotics, prosthetics, and diabetic shoes. We are dedicated to providing responsive, timely customer service. We ensure that all of our staff receives ongoing continuing education so that they are knowledgeable about the latest technology, products, and services available so we may serve you effectively.

Footwear and multi-durometer orthoses or inlays, play an important role in footcare. Active  Mobility has professionally trained fitters to help with your diabetic needs. Diabetic footwear should provide:

• High, wide toe box
• Removable insoles for fitting flexibility and the option to insert orthoses if necessary
• Rocker Soles designed to reduce pressure in the areas of the foot most susceptible to pain (like the ball of the foot)
• Firm Heel Counters for support and stability

Active Mobility can also provide foot care products to aid in healing and help prevent surgical intervention if vascular ulcers do occur and offers a choice of manufacturers of compression garments including Mediven, Sigbaris, and Jobst. Trained fitters will measure and fit to provide the prescribed compression.

Active Mobility can provide:

• Custom and off the shelf bracing for the spine, upper extremities, and lower extremities
• Cutting edge technology in prosthetics
• Wheelchairs, walkers, hospital beds, bedside commodes, and power wheelchairs
• A “Multi Podus” boot or Static AFO relieves pressure to the back of the heel and can be used
while walking
• Pressure relief shoes also allow optimal healing by eliminating or reducing ulcer pressure while walking
• Prescription compression stockings help support weakened veins, reducing swelling, improve circulation and prevent further vein deterioration.
• Butler Application Aid: A “must-have” for every stocking patient, this simple step-in device allows for easy, correct application of Compression Stockings

Active Mobility accepts Medicare and Medicaid and we are in network with many private insurance companies.

Most private insurance covers vascular therapy needs, however, this is dependent on individual policies.
